Robert Harlow grew up in Northern British Columbia. In 1941 he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and became a bomber pilot. He got his B.A. in English at The University of British Columbia and was then, in 1948, invited to be a member of the Iowa Writers´ Workshop. During the Fifties and early Sixties, he worked as a producer and then as a programmer at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Vancouver. For a further dozen years he headed the Creative Writing Department at the University of British Columbia, and, since 1988, he has lived and continued writing on one of the Gulf Islands off the southern coast of B.C.

He has been successfully writing novels since 1962. Now, using the Publication On Demand service at www.Xlibris.com in Philadelphia, he has published all eight of his books. They are for sale at Xlibris, Barnes and Noble, Amazon.com and Borders.
